Tonight is the Band of Horses show that I’ve been hoping for, dreaming about, waiting with bated breath… held tickets since the day they were released.
Mistakenly, I gave them to the ex a few weeks back around the break-up time, expecting I’d either get another pair or we’d still go together. All of this time he’s hemmed and hawed about selling them but never did. ...
In the elevator this morning I saw the cutest girl. She had a cream-colored blouse, a black frilly skirt, and cream-colored over-the-knee socks (they looked crocheted) with a pair of black rainboots. She was far too adorable to be working in this soccer mom, suburban office building.
I miss her already.

I’ve been so gloomy lately and I’m having such a hard time being positive. I don’t want to feel like this all the time, but maybe it’s ok to indulge my emotions and wallow in the gray-blue for a bit, right?
Last night I had a dream that a baby lamb was my new pet (is baby lamb redundant?). Anyhow, he gave me kisses on my face, and now I want one. Wonder if my landlord will just assume it’s a dog…
